Tropitone Introduces Indigo Bay Stacking Sling Group.

A "stacking" Sling group consisting of a Stacking Dining Chair, Stacking Chaise Lounge, and a Stationary Barstool. Available in two fabric options: Indigo Bay - which is available in our entire slingable fabric pallette, and Indigo Bay II - which is available in our revoloutionary new "Dura-Flex" fabric in three designer color options.

Indigo Bay II was designed around the use of a new type of Sling fabric that uses "elastimeric" threads running across the fabric. This new fabric construction - which Tropitone is calling "DuraFlex" - has performed excellently with no visible sag after 250,000 weighted cycles (or 10 times what we normally test our fabrics for). It has the ability to stretch down and conform to your body when you sit in it, yet springs back to shape once you get out of the seat. On the minus side, the DuraFlex fabrics are 3 times as expensive as Tropitone's typical PVC Textilene mesh fabrics. <

The Indigo Bay frames all feature 1-½" diameter aluminum tubing for the rear legs and cross-brace, and 1 ½" wide "crowned" aluminum extrusion for the arms and front legs - thus giving a comfortable arm rest surface. The entire frame is powder-coated in any of Tropitone's 18 finishes.

There are 3 different colorations of DuraFlex Elastimeric Fabrics - a white, a taupe, and a bronze. Other colorations are available through the COM process - depending upon the size of the project and order.

Due to its unique stretching capability, we are still determining what other existing Tropitone groups DuraFlex can be used on.
