Tropitone Introduces the Somerset Sling Design

Named after the Somerset Estate in rural England, SOMERSET SLING by Tropitone is an elegant, more formal design, but still ideally suited for the outdoor environment with its all aluminum construction and powder-coat finish. SOMERSET SLING features a frame built from extruded aluminum tubing married to a full-length sand-cast aluminum arm using full circumference welds. The arm casting flairs provide a wide arm surface for comfort. SOMERSET's "formal" appearance is due in part to the large diameter straight legs, lower cross bracing with a small "X" casting detail and the decorative finials at all four leg transitions. The graceful curved arm with wide arm support and the use of Tropitone's anatomically designed high-back sling seat bucket (with lumbar back support) insures superior comfort.

The SOMERSET SLING line includes a High-back and Low-back Dining Chair, High-back and Low-back Swivel Rocker (both using Tropitone's new "At-ease" swivel mechanism), and a Chaise Lounge with a multi-position adjustable back, Recliner, Ottoman, Double Glider and Swivel Barstool.

SOMERSET SLING is available in all 13 of Tropitone's textured product powder-coat finishes. A supporting palette of over 100 "Slingable" fabrics allows a multitude of fabric & finish combinations.

SOMERSET SLING is covered by Tropitone's 15 Year Consumer Warranty that includes both the furniture frame and finish.
