Irvine, CA – May 2, 2016 – The Tropitone® KOR Collection is expanding with the addition of cushion outdoor furniture pieces. “KOR Cushion delivers the style and durability that the contract market requires and the comfort that a residential customer will enjoy,” states VP of Sales, John Mattson. The KOR Cushion group joins the KOR Padded Sling and Relaxed Sling groups as a contemporary seating option for the outdoor furniture market.
The new cushion collection consists of a lounger with retractable shade, lounger, large ottoman, small ottoman, arm chair, and modular pieces. Modular components allow customers to create fluid shapes and to create a configuration that suits any structural constraints. Each KOR cushion piece utilizes reticulated foam fill with vented cushions. Providing comfort and style, these sculpted cushions are available in Tropitone’s variety of cushion fabrics.
Like the KOR Padded Sling and Relaxed Sling models, the cushion pieces feature an edgy design with curved backs, double bar arms, and arched angled legs. “Inspired by mid-century modern design,” explains Brian Mehler, Director of Design, “the new cushion pieces feature the same clean lines, high quality, and comfort as the rest of the KOR Collection.”
